Terms of Service
Effective 7 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-07
These Terms govern use of Vatzapp, operated by VATZAPP TECHNOLOGIES (PTY) LTD (registration number 2026/714720/07), by firm owners, team members, and authorised users during the Vatzapp pilot and any subsequent service period.
1. The service
Vatzapp provides a firm workspace for collecting, storing, reviewing, following up on, and exporting client documents. It may use WhatsApp and other providers as delivery channels. Vatzapp is not an accounting firm and does not provide tax, legal, bookkeeping, payroll, or financial advice.
2. Your firm account
You must provide accurate account information, protect your password and authenticator, and ensure that team members have only the access they need. The person creating a firm confirms that they are authorised to act for that firm and to invite its users.
3. Your documents and responsibilities
Your firm remains responsible for the documents, instructions, client communications, review decisions, and any accounting or tax work performed through its workflow. Do not upload unlawful content, credentials, malware, or documents you are not authorised to handle.
4. Pilot access and availability
Pilot access may be limited, changed, suspended, or withdrawn while the service is being tested. Features, provider integrations, and processing times may change. We will use reasonable care in operating the service, but should not be treated as a substitute for your firm’s own records, controls, or backups.
5. Third-party services
Vatzapp may rely on hosting, storage, messaging, and document-processing providers to operate the service. Provider availability and their applicable terms may affect how a feature works.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access where necessary for security, legal compliance, provider requirements, or misuse. You may stop using the service at any time. Document retention and deletion are governed by the workspace settings and the Privacy Notice.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security, or product reasons. Material changes will be presented for acceptance before a new firm is created. For a question or pilot enquiry, use thepilot contact form.
